  1. A dogfish is any of several small sharks
  2. found in the North East Atlantic, Pacific, 
  3. and Mediterranean. The spiny dogfish 
  4. Squalus acanthius of the Pacific and
  5. Atlantic grows to about 1.2m (4ft) long.
  6. It is a common subject for dissection in
  7. biology laboratories.
